Refurbishment, Rains and Reinvention

Newly refurbished the Lodge now boasts a charismatic new restaurant, bar and aquarium. Indigenous walking palms cast long shadows over the new “Mkadi” bar, enhancing the gentle south eastern winds that breeze through. Guests can enjoy a plethora of wines, fine whiskeys and cool refreshments as they gaze out on a fishing scene that has played out for centuries. At night the bar is transformed by the flickering light of a beach fire set around a converted Dhow.

The fresh water aquarium is the center piece of a new lounge area, perfect for enjoying a quiet game of cards or one of our popular board games.
